IMMANUEL FAITH MINISTRIES INTERNATIONAL(IFM) |
||
IFMI is a non denominational missionary oriented evangelical charismatic
charitable society registered in India under the Charitable Societies Act XII of 1955 to
evangelize India and beyond, with the message of eternal salvation through Jesus Christ.
By providence, we are living in the middle of teaming millions of people who willy-nilly
rejected or never had a chance to hear the gospel. Jesus called us "the salt
of the earth" (Matthew 5:13).
Small in quantity, yet enough to savour the whole earth, if we are willing to be expanded
for His cause. IFMI missionaries work in different states of India and many churches have been planted in remote areas. One tribal chief who is the king of 3,50,000 tribals have posi-tively responded to the gospel. Audio/video division Inland water mission Jail evangelism, Letter ministry, Internet minis-try, Campus ministry, Power Ministry training programme Immanuel Bible College IFMI Welcome Immanuel International Ministry: Pacific Island Mission: Prof. Dr. John George, professor in the Malay Medical University of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and radiologist for the national sports council of Malaysia, is the IFMI co-ordinator for Pacific Islands Mission. An Island Ministry in the south of Singapore (The Rion islands of Indonesia) started by Dr. Joseph Cho (Korean Presbeterian mission) is working together with IFMI to reach the thousands of scattered islands in the Pacific and the Indian oceans. Now the work is concentrated in Batam, which is in the Riaoaae province of Indonesia. Indonesia is a country of 13,500 islands, stretched to an area of 1,92,000 sq.km. with 2850 inhibited islands. Dr. Cho has started a theological college, a hospital and eight local churches. The largest is in Bekong where about 200 children attend Sunday school. 30 missionaries are working in these islands, reaching the islands with a small boat. These islands are home for some of the "largest and least reached people in the world". Dr. John made 4 visits to the islands and has gained first hand knowledge about the needs of the mission. The greatest need is to overcome the geographical barriers in reaching these far-flung islands by procuring and equipping a ship with medical facilities and other tools for evangelism. Capt. Rueben, a sea captain with a vision, has joined hands with Dr. John George and completed the study of the ship project for your valuable prayers. Beside this, our IFMI ship is the only alternative to reach the Union Territory of Andaman and Nicobar islands in the Bay of Bengal situated between 6 to 14 degree north latitude and 92 to 94 degree east longitude. The southern tip of the islands is Indira point which is only 91 miles from Sumatra, our Pacific Island mission field. THE PROJECT STUDY of our proposed mission field in Andaman and Nicobar island revealed the following facts: The archipelago comprised of 572 islands, islets and rock out of which 38 islands are inhabited: 26 in Andaman and 12 in Nicobar. These islands are the abode of 4 negrito tribes namely great Andamanes, Onges, Jarawas, Sentineless and two Mongoloid tribe namely the Nicobares and the Shompens. The Jarawa tribe is hostile to the people and kills whomsoever they see before their sight. Most of these islands are in great spiritual darkness, demonic oppression and under occult bondage caught in animistic culture and intricate ceremonies. These naked aboriginals and man killers need to be freed into man lovers by the love and light of the glorious gospel of the Saviour of the world. If the Holy Spirit prompts you to confess that you are a part of this final call to fulfill His commandment, please fill up this form and send it to our address:We believe you have been supernaturally raised for such a time as this! The call of God is upon your life. God has sanctified you, set you apart, so He can use you in this final hour! You have been divinely chosen to partner with IFMI to evangelize the whole world.
